Head of School

 

We are looking for a new Head of School! Our new leader should lead with vision and integrity, be servant-hearted and oversee academic and operational excellence in our holistic, innovative and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who encourages out-of-the-box thinking and hands-on learning. They excel in interpersonal communication, effectively engaging diverse stakeholders and demonstrating resilience and adaptability in dynamic situations. Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience and/or 5 years in school leadership roles in international education or multicultural environments
  • Senior school leadership experience preferred
  • Open to national and international candidates

Music/Theatre Teaching Assistant

 

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • Certificate (diploma or higher preferred) in Music/Theatre (additional certification in Education is advantageous)

  • Experience working in an international educational setting preferred

  • TSC registration preferred

  • Valid Police Clearance Certificate

  • Open to Kenyan candidates only

  • Start date: As soon as possible

Early Years Teaching Internship

 
Duration: 3 months (Sep – Nov; Jan – Mar; Apr – Jun)

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • TSC Registration (or proof of application)
  • Valid Police Clearance Certificate
  • Available to national (Kenyan) applicants only
  • Start date: As soon as possible

Whole-School Social Emotional Counselor Lead

 

The School Counselor will provide comprehensive counseling services to learners, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development within an international school setting. This role involves working collaboratively with learners, parents, and staff to support the well-being and personal growth of learners from diverse cultural backgrounds, between the ages of 3 – 18 years.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid Certification or licensure in counseling
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a school counselor or in a similar role, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations.
  • Knowledge of child development, counseling techniques, and academic guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with learners, parents, and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Available to national (Kenyan) applicants only
  • Start date: January 2025

Guidance/Career Counselor

 

The Guidance/Career Counselor will play a crucial role in supporting students’ academic, personal, and career development. This position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about guiding young individuals through their high school journey and preparing them for future opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a multicultural environment and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by international students.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid certification as a School Guidance Counselor (or equivalent qualification) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic and career counseling in an international school setting.
  • Strong understanding of multicultural issues and the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Available to national and international applicants
  • Start date: August 2025 (or earlier)
