See Woodland Star for yourself

Our campus sits within East Africa’s only fully accredited botanic garden, giving our students daily opportunities to contextualise their studies in real ecosystems. But the setting is only part of the Woodland Star experience. Take a quick look inside our international learning community, see how we help students build strong academic foundations alongside the life skills and confidence to adapt to a changing world. Then come and experience the school for yourself.

1. Strong academic foundations

Students follow an American standards-guided curriculum leading to an American High School Diploma, with opportunities for Advanced Placement study and pathways to universities worldwide.

2. Space to discover individual strengths

Small classes and a teacher-student ratio of no more than 1:8 allow learning to be shaped around each student’s strengths, interests and next steps.

3. Confidence to adapt to a changing world

Project-based learning, student voice and experiences beyond the classroom help students grow in confidence, character and independence.

4. An inspiring environment

Located among the tea fields of Tigoni, our green campus is within reach of Nairobi. School transport covers several routes, including Runda, Rosslyn, Gigiri, Nyari, Westlands, Loresho and General Mathenge.
